    Engineered for ultra-rapid cut on carbon steel, 3M™ Fibre Disc 782C features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain. With its outstanding cut, durability and ease of use, this disc offers a major step up in performance over conventional fibre discs. Advanced abrasive technology makes it an excellent choice for tough applications including weld removal, blending and finish refinement.

    3M™ Fibre Disc 782C contains 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain (PSG) to optimize the balance of speed and longevity for many of your carbon steel operations. Disc construction includes a stiff fiber backing and strong resin bond that provide durability and tear-resistance. This feature along with a fast-cutting abrasive grain enables operators to complete more parts per disc and requires fewer disc changes. Developed for improved output on light to heavy-stock removal, 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain lets operators finish tough tasks faster and with less fatigue. Because the grain wears evenly and stays sharp, PSG abrasives last significantly longer than their conventional ceramic counterparts, ensuring extended high performance in production applications. To accomplish this level of performance, 3M engineers apply proprietary microreplication technology to create precise triangular structures of 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and then electrostatically orient them on the backing to form sharp peaks. These ultra-sharp peaks slice cleanly through metal and continuously self-sharpen as the points break off rather than gouging or 'plowing' as conventional abrasives do. To suit many different project needs, we offer these discs in a range of sizes and a variety of attachment styles. We offer 2.22 cm center hole (CH) discs that require the use of a 3M™ Disc Pad Face Plate and 3M™ hub. This ensemble is attached to a right angle grinder with a disc retainer nut (all sold separately). Also available are GL and TN style discs with convenient built-in fasteners to provide reliable attachment to the tool and easy disc changes between applications. Smaller sized discs with quick change attachments are sold separately as 3M™ Roloc™ Fibre Disc 782C. Please select discs with the attachment design made for your system.
