    3M™ Petrifilm™ Aerobic Count Plates provide a cost effective, convenient and reliable confirmation method for total aerobic population determination. Within 48 hours (U.S. AOAC®), the 3M™ Petrifilm™ Aerobic Count Plate helps determine aerobic bacteria populations and detects lactic-acid bacteria.

    The 3M™ Petrifilm™ Aerobic Count Plate enumerates total aerobic bacteria present in the sample tested. Following a simple protocol they can also be used for enumerating anaerobic bacteria for processed meats and in high acid foods. This Petrifilm Plate can also be read in 4 seconds using the 3M™ Petrifilm™ Plate Reader.
