3M™ Dynamar™ Rubber Curative RC 5251Q is a sodium carbonate cure activator used as part of a system. This cure system is used in veneer fuel and filler hose constructions.

3M™ Dynamar™ Rubber Curatives are capable of bonding directly to incorporated cure 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomers and 3M™ Dyneon™ THV Fluorothermoplastics without the use of an external bonding agent. The recommended concentration is 8-12 PHR. It can be added at any point during the mixing cycle, however best results are usually obtained when incorporated early in the mix – preferably to the gum directly after polymer breakdown.
