The 3M™ PICC/CVC Securement Device + Tegaderm™ I.V. Advanced Securement Dressing is a sutureless securement system that provides reliable PICC/CVC securement without sacrificing patient comfort. It includes an adhesive catheter securement device plus an IV securement dressing to help you avoid the clinical, financial and emotional costs of PICC/CVC complications, including needlestick injuries.

Provide reliable catheter securement without sacrificing patient comfort.

Designed with clinicians and patients in mind, the 3M™ PICC/CVC Securement Device + Tegaderm™ Advanced I.V. Securement Dressing is an ideal alternative to sutures. The system is easy to apply and provides secure adhesion, site visibility, long wear time and gentle, one-handed removal with minimal to no adhesive residue left on the skin. Thanks to its unique silicone adhesive, you can reposition the catheter securement device to optimize placement without losing adhesion.

Together, the stabilization device and IV securement dressing promote patient comfort and mobility, are designed to be worn for up to 7 days and can fit the majority of single, double or triple-lumen PICC and short-term CVC catheters up to, and including, 12 French.

    3M™ PICC/CVC Securement Device

    1. Silicone adhesive. Holds securely and removes gently without alcohol and can be repositioned upon initial application.

    2. Securement base. Includes visual cues without mechanical doors or wings to make application easy.

    3. Soft-cloth material. Water-resistant, conformable and perforated for additional breathability.

    Tegaderm™ I.V. Advanced Securement Dressing

    4. Picture-frame delivery. Allows for precise dressing placement and minimizes the potential to stick to gloves or to itself for easy, one-handed application.

    5. Highly breathable transparent film. Provides continuous insertion site visibility and a waterproof, sterile barrier to external contaminants.*

    6. Pattern-coated adhesive technology. Promotes enhanced breathability and provides a balance of securement and removal to preserve patients’ skin integrity.

    7. Securement tape strips. Promote consistent application, enhance securement and include a film coating that resists soiling to help reduce the number of dressing changes.

    8. Stabilization border. Flexible, conformable and designed to reduce edge lift.

    *In vitro testing shows that the film provides a barrier against viruses 27 nm in diameter or larger while the dressing remains intact without leakage.
