The 3M™ Versaflo™ Replacement Hood with Inner Shroud is a replacement part intended for use with the 3M™ Versaflo™ Hood Assembly, S-657 which uses a double shroud design for its respiratory seal. It allows wearers to select their preferred seal design and is worn by tucking the inner shroud into a shirt or protective coverall, allowing excess air to be channeled over the body.
Premium reusable suspension hoods can be a very cost-effective choice for some high disposal rate environments—just the soiled hood fabric is replaced, while the suspension and air ducting can be reused. The new design permits significantly faster user assembly of the entire headtop.
