3M™ Sandblast Stencil with Easy Release Liner 520 has a tan rubber backing with gray rubber adhesive with easy release clear film liner.
The 3M™ Sandblast Stencil with Easy Release Liner Splice Free 520 is a stencil that helps protect granite, marble and wood during the sandblasting process when used in the monument and wood sign industry. It is ideal for hand and die-cutting and can be used with most stencil press equipment and plastic letters. The 3M™ Sandblast Stencil has a rubber backing that takes distinct carbon transfer so cut lines show up clearly and also provides a rubber adhesive for excellent adhesion to polished stone, wood and fillers. Three other versions are available for use with most automated computer plotter/cutters, including the 3M™ Sandblast Stencil with Easy Release Liner 520S, the 3M™ Sandblast Stencil with Easy Release Liner 520T and the 3M™ Sandblast Stencil with Easy Release Liner 520HLR.
Suggested applications
- It is recommended that this stencil not be applied to cold stone surfaces because of possible condensation forming on the surface when placed in warm areas. Apply to a warm, clean and dry surface
- When applying to stone or wood surfaces, rub stencil down firmly to achieve maximum adhesion
- Can be used to help protect wood, granite, marble and other stone surfaces during sandblasting operations
