3M™ Hookit™ Gold Disc 216U is intended for rough featheredging and as a final step before priming. The gold abrasives are precision coated with high quality minerals and resins to help deliver long-lasting discs that cut through a variety of surfaces, including paint, primer, fibreglass, metal and SMC. 3M™ Gold Abrasives help produce uniform, consistent finishes and are available in both 3M™ Stikit™ Attachment and 3M™ Hookit™ Attachment options for convenience and reuse.
The 3M™ Hookit™ Gold Abrasive Disc 216U is designed for convenience, combining open coat aluminum oxide discs. This high-quality, coated abrasive product comes ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) coating on the backside so it conveniently presses on to the backup pad and removes cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc.
