We designed the 3M™ Flap Disc 747D as a ceramic grain abrasive flap disc with a durable, X-weight cotton backing for working with stainless and carbon steels. Designed to run on a right angle grinder, a flap disc is a one-step alternative to bonded wheels and fiber discs. A unique grinding aid minimizes heat while maintaining life on heat sensitive alloys such as stainless steel.

The 3M™ Flap Disc 747D T27 is resin bonded for heat resistance, and features a grinding aid for cooler grinding. It is fast cutting, cool running, and has a long life. The 3M™ Flap Disc 747D T27 is a 100% ceramic mineral disc. It is ideal for sharp edge work and flat finishing.
