3M™ Petrifilm™ staph express (STX) discs are used to identify S. aureus from all suspect colonies and are designed for use with 3M™ Petrifilm™ Staph Express Count Plates. These discs are selective and differential for Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus) with high background flora.

3M™ Petrifilm™ Staph Express Discs streamline your staph testing by providing fast confirmed results in a few steps. These discs are specifically for use when background flora exists in your staph testing. Distinctive red-violet colonies make interpretation very easy for testing equipment, raw materials, food products and the manufacturing environment.
