Meeting the high-efficacy standards of all 3M™ Curos™ Disinfecting Port Protectors, 3M™ Curos™ Stopper Disinfecting Cap for Open Female Luers utilize 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to disinfect the critical surfaces of open female luers, prior to line access. These caps protect open female luers for up to 7 days if not removed.

3M™ Curos™ Stopper Disinfecting Cap for Open Female Luers are dispensed as individual caps or on a convenient five-cap strip, which can be hung from I.V. poles for easy access.

Suggested applications

May be used in the home or a healthcare facility
2 year shelf life. Please refer to product expiration date
Use only on open female luers. Do not use on needleless connectors

1. Peel foil tab or strip from the 3M™ Curos™ Disinfectant Port Protector cap.
2. Once foil is removed, push and twist the Curos™ Disinfectant Port Protector onto the end of the needleless connector
3. The Curos disinfectant port protector must remain on the needleless connector for a minimum of one (1) minute and may remain on for seven (7) days (168 hours) or the duration of the intended use if not removed.
4. A new Curos disinfectant port protector should be placed on the needleless connector after each use.
5. Discard the Curos disinfectant port protector after use.
