3M™ Ceramic Microspheres are white, semi-transparent, and high-strength particles designed for use with paints and coatings. The intrinsic hardness of these microspheres helps make painted surfaces more durable and resistant to scrubbing and burnishing — all while improving viscosity control. Enhance gloss control, simplify mixing, and provide increased durability with 3M™ Ceramic Microspheres.

Because of their shape and particle size distribution, 3M™ Ceramic Microspheres allow for lower resin demand and viscosities — without sacrificing filler loading. These microspheres have a typical whiteness (L-value) of 90 or greater, and, thanks to their low surface-area-to-volume ratio, they help fill voids between larger particles for high packing density.
