3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Primer EC-3960 is sprayable corrosion inhibiting adhesive primer. This chromated, epoxy resin-based primer provides a high degree of protection against corrosive environments both inside and outside the adhesive bond line. It is formulated for optimal performance when used with 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Bonding Films.
With its sprayable consistency, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Primer EC-3960 is capable of high transfer efficiency for less overspray waste. When cured it promotes long-term durability for bonded joints. This product can be co-cured adhesive films at 250°F (121°C) or 350°F (177°C) to accommodate a variety of requirements and lessen the burden on inventory requirements.
