3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4015

3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4015 features two adhesives, one on each side of a thick acrylic foam core that conforms even to complex contours. The viscoelastic foam core provides stress relaxation when exposed to high application loads, and maintains tight bond-line aesthetics under normal conditions.

3M™ Acrylic PlusTape EX4015 is developed specifically for attaching exterior trim and other parts to automotive paint surfaces. It features two different adhesives applied to a 1.52 mm acrylic foam core. The liner side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion for scratch- and mar-resistant paint systems. The non-liner-side is designed for high initial adhesion to surfaces such as powder coats, as well as high adhesive build and final adhesion to a range of rigid clear coats, plastics and other common materials used for automotive parts. The viscoelastic acrylic foam core adapts well to complex shapes and features excellent wet-out properties as well as stress relaxation during high loads.
