3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape RT8008US is designed for the attachment of automotive exterior trim parts, such as bodyside moldings and spoilers. This tape provides an engineered adhesive system that adheres well to traditional and advanced paint systems.

Developed specifically for attaching trim and other exterior parts in automotive applications, 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape RT8008US features an acrylic adhesive on its liner side formulated for a wide range of auto paint systems. This adhesive delivers excellent adhesion to traditional and advanced auto paint systems and helps support heavier parts such as spoilers and claddings. The adhesive is applied to both sides of a 0.8 mm viscoelastic acrylic foam core, which provides stress relaxation when exposed to high loads and maintains tight bond-line aesthetics under normal conditions. The inconspicuous grey colour of 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape RT8008US helps ensure good bond-line appearance. The orange liner provides an easy one-piece release and efficient tape application.
