3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF‐14 is woven from Nextel™ 312 High Temperature Continuous Ceramic Oxide Fibre that is designed to maintain strength and flexibility under a variety of extremely high temperature conditions. It outperforms the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles for improved performance in demanding applications.

The 3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF‐14 is woven from Nextel™ 312 High Temperature Continuous Ceramic Oxide Fibre and is designed to withstand continuous high temperatures. It can act as a flame barrier and due to its unique properties, these products outperform the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles. It is often used as a component in flame barriers, high temperature seals. It may also be used as a reinforcement for ceramic matrix composites (CMC) and polymer matrix composites (PMC).
