3M™ Nextel™ Fabric BF-20

3M™ Nextel™ Fabric BF-20 is woven fabric made from 3M™ Nextel™ 440 Grade Continuous Filament Ceramic Oxide Fibre that is designed to maintain strength and flexibility under a variety of extremely high temperature conditions. It outperforms the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles for improved performance in demanding applications.

The 3M™ Nextel™ Fabric BF-20 is a woven fabric from 3M™ Nextel™ 440 High Temperature Continuous Filament Ceramic Oxide Fibre. Due to the properties of the fibre, this product outperforms the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles. It is medium weight, electrically insulating and flexible. It has low air permeability and is often used as a component in thermal barrier constructions. It is used in combination with other 3M™ Nextel™ Products such as sewing thread and high temperature materials such as bulk fibre/insulation products to construct thermal barrier components.
