3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC-1469

The 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC-1469 is a one-part with 100% solids and thermosetting liquid adhesive that provides exceptionally high strength at service temperatures from -70°F to 300°F (-57°C to 149°C). The pourable adhesive can be applied by a spatula, knife coating, notched trowel, or by extruding into place.

The 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC-1469 is excellent for bonding a variety of substrates like metals and plastics. This cream-coloured adhesive can be dispensed by knife coating, trowel, roller coating, pump and high-pressure injection methods. The high-performance epoxy adhesive can be used to replace mechanical fasteners, screws, rivets and spot welds. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC-1469 is the ideal choice for structural applications in the aircraft manufacture and maintenance operations that require performance in high temperatures. The temperature range is between -70°F to 300°F (-57°C to 149°C). The formula enables curing under minimal pressure sufficient to ensure contact between mating surfaces.
