The 3M™ Membrane Switch Spacer 7959MP features 3M™ High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP, formulated for excellent shear strength, on a 5 mil (0.13 mm) PET film carrier. This adhesive withstands repeated switch actuation and forms neat, clean edges for precise slitting and die-cutting. Double PCK paper liners resist humidity, curling, tunneling and buckling, and add stability for improved sheet processing.
The 3M™ Membrane Switch Spacer 7959MP provides some initial repositionability for placement accuracy when bonding to plastics. It also performs well after exposure to humidity and hot/cold cycles. This tape features up to 400°F (204.4°C) short term heat resistance, excellent solvent resistance, and excellent shear strength to resist slippage and edge lifting. 3M™ High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP is a popular choice, and industry standard, for graphic attachment and general industrial joining applications.
