The 3M™ Membrane Switch Spacer Single Coated 7997MP features 3M™ High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP, formulated for excellent shear strength, on a 5 mil (0.15 mm) carrier. This white PET film provides a smooth, bright appearance, eliminating the need for floodcoat on overlays and keypads. The adhesive withstands repeated switch actuation and forms neat, clean edges for precise slitting and die-cutting.

3M™ High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP is a popular choice, and industry standard, for graphic attachment and general industrial joining applications. This adhesive provides some initial repositionability for placement accuracy when bonding to plastics. It also performs well after exposure to humidity and hot/cold cycles. This tape features up to 400°F of short-term heat resistance, excellent solvent resistance, excellent shear strength to resist slippage and edge lifting**. Used for lead protection, dome retainer sheets and for printing conductive circuitry. It has the same characteristics as 3M™ Membrane Switch Spacer 7993MP except with a thicker white polyester film carrier.
