3M™ DBI-SALA® X6000 Series Safety Helmets

The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Safety Helmet X6000 Series is designed to help provide 360-degree impact protection on the crown of the head per ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type II protection — the first 3M Safety Helmet to meet this requirement. This helmet includes air gaps between the head, foam, and shell, creating space for improved air circulation as well as large vent openings designed to maximize airflow. As one of the lightest options in the market for ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type II helmets, it features the 3M™ SecureFit™ 6-Point Suspension, designed to optimize fit and stability, providing a comfortable fit for all-day wear. As a part of its modern, contemporary styling, it also features a rimless design that allows for a broader field of view, improving upward vision for hazard awareness. In keeping with its protective features, the 3M™ DBI-SALA® Safety Helmet X6000 Series is available with 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material for enhanced visibility in low-light and night conditions, delivering 5X brighter retroreflective material compared to the retroreflective material on 3M™ SecureFit™ Safety Helmet X5000 Series.

Wearer comfort is a key design philosophy of the 3M™ DBI-SALA® Safety Helmet X6000 Series, leading it to include many features that help enable all-day wear. One such feature is its adjustable, 6-point, low-fitting suspension with four height settings that optimize fit. It also makes use of a smooth, easy-to-turn ratchet that allows the wearer to adjust in small degrees and a comfort pad on the back of the suspension system designed to distribute force and increase comfort. Available with either the 3M™ Standard or Premium 4-point Chin Strap to help keep the helmet on in the event of slips, trips, or falls, as well as hazards when working at heights, both the easy-to-adjust ratchet and magnetic buckle are designed for simple, one-handed operation — even with gloves on. These features are further complemented by the helmet's ability to be donned and doffed easily. It also requires no assembly. However, wearer comfort goes beyond fit, which is why the 3M™ DBI-SALA® Safety Helmet X6000 Series utilizes nearly 3X more vent openings compared to the 3M™ SecureFit™ Safety Helmet X5000 Series. As a result, this helmet is designed to maximize airflow by releasing rising heat. The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Safety Helmet X6000 Series are also engineered to accommodate a wide variety of 3M accessories and work well with other PPE, including eye, face, and hearing protection.
