The 3M™ Hookit™ Soft Abrasive Disc Pad is an abrasive disc pad for low-speed polishers and grinders. It is ideal for use with fine grade abrasives and for sanding primer on conformable surfaces. The disc features a 45° beveled edge, providing support and control for technicians using fine grit 203 mm (8 inch) 3M Hookit™ discs (sold separately). The Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment system makes changing discs fast and easy.

Use the 3M™ Hookit™ Soft Disc Pad with a slow speed polisher/grinder. It is designed for low-speed polishing and grinding, features a 25.4 mm (1 inch) layer of soft foam to provide support, control, and finer finishes. The foam conforms to uneven surfaces while remaining durable under the torque of machine grinders or polishers. A 45-degree bevel edge enables a refined finish, and the pad is compatible with 203 mm (8 inch) fine-grade 3M™ Hookit™ abrasive discs (sold separately). It includes a 5/8-11 interior thread to fit low-speed power tools with a maximum speed of 3000 RPM. The Hookit™ hook-and-loop system allows easy disc attachment, removal, and reuse, extending the life of the abrasive discs. With J-shaped hooks that securely grip the nylon loop backings of Hookit™ discs (sold separately), the system provides a firm hold suited for environments with dust or debris, making it ideal for jobs requiring frequent disc changes.
