Highlights
  • Soft density and abrasive grains produce brushed surfaces without compounds
  • Provides more surface contact than bristle-type brushes
  • Abrasive continually self-sharpens for consistent, uniform finishes
  • Non-woven web is load- and heat-resistant, enabling fine finishing results on a variety of materials
  • Achieves decorative finishes on metal, wood, and composites

The Scotch-Brite™ Finishing Flap Brush is constructed from sections of non-woven material slit lengthwise and bonded to a cylindrical core. This long-lasting brush provides improved consistency and greater control over a number of critical prep and finishing tasks, such as polishing and aesthetic finishing, to deliver brushed finishes on copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals.

The Scotch-Brite™ Finishing Flap Brush features aluminum oxide abrasive mineral incorporated into a non-woven fibre matrix. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use, whereas traditional abrasives quickly wear down with use. The open web material runs cool and resists loading, while the abrasive minerals cut fast and offers enduring performance. This flap brush is suitable for use on a variety of substrates in metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Suggested applications
  • Ideal for all aesthetic finishing applications, such as smoothing wood fibres, defuzzing wood, plastic and composite surfaces, and sealer scuffing
