3M™ Cold Shrink QT-III Outdoor Terminations offer easy installation and reliable performance when terminating indoor and outdoor medium voltage cable. The Hi-K stress control design delivers excellent BIL performance and lower surface stress, resulting in a more compact termination. The 3M™ Cold Shrink QT-III Outdoor 2 Skirt Termination7642-S-2 accommodates wire sizes of 4/0 AWG to 400 kcmil at 5kV, 3/0 AWG to 300 kcmil at 8 kV, 2 to 4/0 AWG at 15kV.
Each kit contains: Three 3M™ High–K, Tracking Resistant Silicone Rubber Terminations, three 3M™ Preformed Ground Braids, three 3M™ Constant Force Springs, three 3M™ EMI Copper Foil Shielding Tape Strips 1181 , six Scotch® Mastic Strips 2230, one 3M™ Cable Cleaning Preparation Kit CC–2 and one Instruction Sheet.
