3M™ Heat Shrink Thin-Wall Flexible Polyolefin Adhesive-Lined Tubing EPS-300 is a 3:1 thin-wall tubing that offers the advantages of integral, adhesive-lined construction.

3M™ Heat Shrink Thin-Wall Flexible Polyolefin Adhesive-Lined Tubing EPS-300 is made from flame-retardant, flexible polyolefin that is lined with an internal layer of special thermoplastic adhesive. The heat-shrinkable outer wall is selectively radiation cross-linked, while the adhesive maintains high flow and excellent adhesion characteristics. It helps provide environmental protection for electronic components, twister pigtail and inline wire splices, crimp splices, wire bundles and wire harness breakouts in automotive, truck fleet, marine and industrial applications. When heated in excess of 121°C (250°F), the tubing rapidly shrinks to a skin-tight fit, forcing the melted adhesive lining to flow and cover the substrate. The adhesive forms a flexible bond with a wide variety of rubbers, plastics and metals. Upon cooling, the adhesive solidifies, forming a permanent, non-drying, flexible and water-resistant barrier. Adhesive reflow will occur at temperatures above 80°C (176°F). This product is UL Recognized (all colours except clear, file E-157227) at 600 volts to a maximum of 125°C and is CSA Certified (CSA file LR38227).
