The 3M™ Diamond Polishing Cloth Sheet 652WY is constructed from micron-graded diamond particles affixed to a durable waterproof cloth backing. The durable, J-weight cloth backing is resin-bonded. The cloth sheet is designed for cost-effective finishing and polishing of hard-to-grind materials.

Engineered to tackle the toughest jobs, the 3M™ Diamond Polishing Cloth Sheet 652WY is constructed with micron-graded diamond particles encapsulated in a resin bead. As the resin erodes, diamond particles continue to be exposed. Diamond abrasives are extremely useful in polishing for its unique ability to produce excellent surface finishes on hard to grind materials. We used a tough resin bond designed to retain the diamond through its useful life. This sheet's overall toughness makes it ideal for polishing and finishing ceramics, chilled cast iron, thermal spray coatings, and the many extremely hard composites being used more often in more industries. Using systematic solutions to yield the desired geometries within tolerances, consistently, with sheets represents a cost-effective way to achieve superfinishing results without superfinishing equipment.
