3M™ Cold Shrink Splice Jacket Kits SJ-Series offer advanced, one-piece, water-tight rejacketing for jacketed concentric neutral (JCN) cable splices. Made from a durable, and chloride and sulfur-free EPDM rubber, it combines with Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 to rejacket over molded rubber splices.

Suggested applications
- Sealing over cable splices installed on jacketed concentric neutral (JCN) and other types of jacketed power cable

- To jacket inline splices installed on Jacketed Concentric Neutral (JCN) Cables rated 15 kV
- Physical protection and moisture sealing inline splices installed on shielded power cables having solid dielectric insulation as follows: polyethylene (high and low density), cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) and ethylene propylene rubber (EPR)
- For use at indoor and outdoor installations including direct burial, aerial and submersible applications
