3M™ Lapping Films are designed for super finishing and flat lapping applications such as, metal and glass finishing and fibre optic connector polishing and repairs. 3M™ Surface Finishing Materials can also be used for all your microabrasive applications including hard disk drive lube buff, media head finishing and final polish. The basic construction is a tightly graded silicon carbide minerals slurry with a durable resin system and PSA backing, which helps provide uniform finishes on various substrates.
