Equipped with a waterproof polyester backing and proprietary 3M microreplication technology, the 3M™ Trizact™ PSA Film Disc 268XA is specially designed for polishing and finishing applications.

The 3M™ Trizact™ PSA Film Disc 268XA typically is used during the middle of a sequence to help bring the workpiece one step closer to the matte, semi-gloss, or high gloss finish desired. While it may be run damp, the disc requires little water for effective results. The 3M™ Trizact™ PSA Film Disc 268XA uses 3M microreplication technology to produce an engineered surface of patterned, microscopic, three-dimensional structures resembling pyramids. As the pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is exposed to produce a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The disc's pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing helps facilitate easy disc-to-tool attachment. Attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. The PSA disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. Disc rolls offer the convenience of quickly tearing off a disc and eliminate the need to remove individual disc liners. PSA discs are used in conjunction with a PSA or 3M™ Stikit™ Backup Pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) attached to a random orbital sander.
