3M™ Printable Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape is a blue kraft paper with a blue, repulpable adhesive on an easy-release liner. It is primarily used for butt splicing coated paper and board at the re-reeler and winders.
The combination of high initial adhesion and very good heat resistance makes the 3M™ Printable Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape ideal for coated papers and boards. This tape can withstand web temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) to help prevent splice failure and reduce down time. The kraft backing is untreated and readily accepts most inks and coatings. Repulpable construction means there is no need to remove splice from waste. 3M™ Printable Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape's water dispersability helps eliminate the danger of contaminating the paper mill broke with non repulpable material.
