The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad features 100 percent wool for a fast cut that quickly refines abrasive sand scratches on painted surfaces. The pad has been specially designed to reduce lint residue which can lead to inefficient cleanup and rework. Single-sided pads feature insets for easy centering on rotary polishers and Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for quick change-outs.

Use 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad for the compounding process in collision repair or industrial finishing to quickly refine paint defects including sand scratches of P1200 or finer. These fast-cutting single-sided pads feature 100% wool fibers which are individually stitched to the pad instead of twisted into tufts. This means that the fibers hold more securely to the pad vs. twisted fibers during use, greatly reducing the chance of lint particles which can add cleanup time and even rework. A 100 mm (4 inch) diameter is great for control and access when compounding small areas and in tight spaces. Compounding pads feature insets for quick attachment to rotary polishers and Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for easy pad change-outs. 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pads are best used in conjunction with 3M™ Perfect-It™ EX Rubbing Compound and attach quickly to rotary polishers. 3M recommends using these pads with a 3M™ Random Orbital Pistol Grip Sander.
