Highlights
  • Aluminum oxide mineral cuts fast on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including aluminum
  • Runs clockwise and counterclockwise, allowing greater flexibility and versatility when paired with tools and machines
  • Open web construction is load-resistant, contributing to longer abrasive service life
  • Wheel comes in a range of diameters from 1 in to 6 in (2.5 cm to 15.24 cm) and attaches to tool with a unitized wheel mandrel (sold separately)

The Scotch-Brite™ Metal Finishing Wheel helps blend out minor surface imperfections and handling marks while delivering a decorative finish. This finishing wheel features an open web of non-woven nylon fibres and a coarse, five density aluminum oxide abrasive wound convolutely around a sturdy core, so it cuts fast but runs cool and resists loading.

On softer metals like aluminum, copper, and brass, our Scotch-Brite™ Metal Finishing Wheels are used to blend out minor surface imperfections and handling marks while providing the desired decorative finish on products such as builder's hardware, and plumbing fixtures. Typically used on stationary machinery, the wheels are available in diameters of 6 to 16 inches and widths of 1/2 inch and greater. This highly conformable wheel is convolutely wound on a core to run smoothly and help create professional finishing results.

Suggested applications
  • This unitized wheel is a good match for mid-sequence applications such as cleaning of hard metals or general deburring
  • Harder material density and increased edge durability makes this wheel ideal for heavier-duty tasks
