It delivers dependable primary insulation up to 600V (UL) or 1000V (CSA), supporting temperatures from cold-weather conditions to demanding heat environments. The tape features a non-corrosive adhesive that provides secure adhesion and long-lasting durability, with easy unwinding and strong resistance to breakage in a variety of temperatures. Made from durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC), the tape is both flame-retardant and cold-weather resistant. It provides mechanical protection in a temperature range of -10 °C to 80 °C per UL 510 standards and -7 °C to 90 °C per CSA requirements. Thanks to its formulation, the product can help reduce moisture ingress when used as an overwrap in combination with a rubber splicing or mastic tape product. Additionally, it meets UL 510 File No. E129200 and CSA C22.2 No.197 requirements as an insulating tape.
