3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3764 is a clear, versatile thermoplastic adhesive specifically designed for bonding a wide variety of plastics, including challenging low surface energy substrates like polyethylene and polypropylene. This fast-setting adhesive maintains flexibility at low temperatures while providing reliable adhesion strength, making it ideal for product assembly applications on difficult plastic surfaces.

We engineered 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3764-TC to provide good shear and peel strength. Additionally, in order to meet varying project demands, we created this hot melt glue to be flexible for adjustments and positioning. It offers excellent impact resistance, delivering long-term durability and resilience for a long-lasting bond. We also engineered 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3764-TC to be a clear, hot melt glue that is highly compatible, capable of bonding many materials, including acrylic, ceramic, foam, glass, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) materials.Our hot melts are 100% solids thermoplastic resins. These adhesives are engineered to re-melt after bonding if exposed to high enough temperatures. The advantage of hot melt adhesives is that, unlike mechanical fasteners and sealing tapes, they are virtually invisible between surfaces. Our hot melt adhesives liquefy when heated, quickly fill gaps and wet the bonding surface. When they are applied to a surface, they cool, harden, and reach their bond strength within seconds. Due to their quick work-life, you can move assemblies immediately upon application which eliminates the need for clamps, fixturing or additional drying time and energy.
