3M™ Electroplating Tape 470 is a conformable and abrasion-resistant vinyl tape with excellent resistance to most chemicals and used in typical electroplating processes.
3M™ Electroplating Tape 470 is used for masking during many electroplating operations, including flat strip and overlapping masks. It can also be used for wrapping, patching, coated racks and masking many irregular surfaces. The 3M™ Electroplating Tape 470 provides excellent resistance to plating chemicals, electroplating nickel and electroless nickel. It is highly conformable, offers great flexibility and can easily be removed when necessary.
