3M™ Cold Shrink Quick Insulator QI 10/37-270 offers a quick solution for a wide range of cable sizes. It has environmental seal of mastic plus the reliability of 3M cold shrink technology. Cable size range: 250 - 1250.

3M™ Cold Shrink Quick Insulators are easily installed by hand with no tools. They seal tightly with excellent wet electrical properties and are tested to requirements of ANSI C119.1. They are recommended for such applications as secondary inline splices, especially in tight spaces or on cable racks, with imperfect or scarred cable jackets, and for splices in which the cable can only be removed from one side. They can also be used for dig-in and sheath repair splices, street lighting, sealing connections or switchgear, transition connectors and set-screw or oversized connectors, and for retrofitting and repairing cable leads for secondary transformers.

Suggested applications
  • Primary electrical insulation for solid dielectric insulated wire and cable splicing rated to 1000 volts
  • Insulation of secondary splices, copper or aluminum conductors
  • Insulation of inline conductor transition connectors and set-screw or oversized connectors
  • Direct bury or submersible applications
