It utilizes a proprietary 3M™ Solvent-Free Adhesive that adheres to most surfaces including metal, rubber, glass or plastic and can be removed cleanly. The extra strong high temperature tan crepe paper backing conforms to irregular surfaces, resists bleed through from most industrial paint systems and offers super sharp paint lines. 3M™ Specialty High Temperature Masking Tape 501+ can withstand temperatures up to 300°F (149°C) for up to 30 minutes.
