Designed to protect polished metal and plastic surfaces, 3M™ Polyester Protective Tape 336 is a thin, transparent, polyester film tape with a low tack rubber adhesive with minimal adhesion build-up. It is commonly used to protect surfaces during production, packing, shipping, and installation.

3M™ Polyester Protective Tape 336 is a thin, polyester film tape designed to protect finished surfaces from light abrasion, nicks, and scratches. The transparent tape provides visibility for easier application. Low tack rubber adhesive adheres to a wide variety of surfaces with minimal adhesion build-up and clean removal when finished. This tape offers excellent heat, abrasion, tear, scratch, impact and puncture resistance. It can withstand extended exposure to temperatures up to 150°F/66°C, and short term (30 minutes or less) exposure up to 250°F/121°C.
