3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluid 7500 is a non-flammable fluid with a very low global warming potential (GWP.) Its' excellent inerting and dielectric properties make it a viable replacement for higher GWP fluids such as PFCs and PFPEs in a wide variety of applications.
3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluid 7500 can be used in cooling of ion implanters, dry etchers and CVD machines in semiconductor and flat panel display manufacturing facilities. Because 3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluid 7500 is compatible with most electronic components, it can be used in direct contact single- and two-phase cooling of supercomputers and sensitive military electronics, and to cool high voltage transformers and power electronics.
