The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a roll that cuts fast and offers long life.

Now available from grades 80+ through 1000+, these rolls are designed for a wide array of substrates and applications,providing flexibility and versatility in use. The rolls are effective for a broad range of tasks from stock removal to fine finishing on various substrates, including metals, paint coatings, composites, gelcoat, and different types of wood. The C-weight paper backing offers flexibility and is suitable for sanding applications where edge retention is not the main concern.The 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the roll backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the paper can be peeled off of the pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface.
