Scotch-Brite™ Universal Surface Conditioning Back-up Pad is designed to optimize the performance of nonwoven abrasive discs. It comes packaged with everything you need for quick and easy tool attachment, including three attachment nuts and an optional snap-in centre post.

Designed for performance and flexibility, the Scotch-Brite™ Universal Surface Conditioning Back-up Pad can be used in multiple configurations depending on your disc type — with snap-in centre post for discs with centre holes, or without the centre post for flat finishing applications. The Scotch-Brite™ Universal Surface Conditioning Back-up Pad is part of a complete surface conditioning system. When you combine this back-up pad with Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning Discs and a 3M™ Angle Grinder, you’re helping to set yourself up for a new level of productivity. When used together, the effectiveness of each component is enhanced to provide optimal abrasive performance — including abrasive life, cut-rate, and consistency.
